Tuesday Nov 27th

What a difference a day makes. Tonight I revisit in my mind the excitement of Cirque Du Soleil's Quidam, which I just returned from. Amazing. Followed by a quick, simple, and simply marvelous dinner at Tony's flat in Pimlico. He is joy. He believes in forever.

Yesterday I followed my Monday routine. Quiet dinner alone (at the Hard Rock Café) a brisk walk (around the Duke of Wellington Arch) and hoped to have tea, candles, and quiet upon returning home. It had been a long day and the week approaching seemed heavy with tasks and trials and very little adventure. How much I do love adventure!

Disturbed by workers in the street outside I was unable to relax and reflect. Ambian put me to bed by eleven - frustrated/ chemically tired/ emotionally drained. Leaving London and knowing that a minor catastrophe/ major headache awaits me back home. Trying to quit smoking. Sometimes I take on too much.

The weekend passed pleasant enough. Friday leaving drinks with the students who are headed back home early this week. Nakia leaves in the morning. Clay on Wednesday. Saturday Tony treated me to a day at Hampton Court Palace. An incredible estate with only 2 bedrooms (one in each wing opposite the immense courtyard) and a kitchen that filled three cavernous rooms. It was easy to picture Henry VIII throwing bones to the dogs at a dinner party waited on by boys of lesser royal families.

We got lost in the Maze - or better spake - we misunderstood the goal. Just keep to the right and everything will go as it should. HA! (thanks Tony)

Sunday brought an early Birthday party then later munchies and a video sitting around my flat. It was nice to spend the evening in for a change and "the students" provided ample entertainment.

Such a rollercoaster… Let's see what happens tomorrow!!!
